Normally on my lunch break, I sit and check emails, facebook, and twitter. While on my lunch break today I seen a trending topic on twitter was “Twitter RPG” So I took a like at the game and quickly liked it. I am not a game player but this game was pretty cool because I can play with my friends from twitter. The site is called 140Blood and it has 4 games. I picked one that I thought was cool and started playing. The game is called Elven Blood. If you into twitter or games. Play with me on your lunch break. Add me on twitter @deneilmerritt
Ok enough about me. I wanted to make a quick post since I have nothing to write about. One question popped in my head. I wonder what people do on their lunch break from working? As an internet entrepreneur its important to take breaks from getting burned out from working to much. So what do everybody do on their lunch break.
Do you make more coffee?

I go to lunch
Seriously… me and my business partner Mark like to try and go to different places in our community each day and just relax and enjoy lunch. One of our blogs is the community website for the town we live in, so we like checkout all the types of food in the neighborhood.
On my lunch break I like to bring my lunch up our office and eat and then surf the web and comment on other blogs that are not blocked. Greg Ellison
Since I’m working from home in a small town (1000 people) there’s not much to do outside my home. Therefore I usually spend my lunch break reading through the newspaper, reading a book in the sun or visit a friend of mine on his work.
I have only 1 hour for my lunch, so I’ll just hang out with my friends to have our lunch together in somewhere else nearby our working place. If there is few minutes left after lunch, then I’ll go back to my office and check my mail, read others’ blog post and hang around.
I usually go sit in my truck and just get away for a bit. if I brought a lunch I’ll listen to the radio and munch away. Of course this changes drastically once the temps get below zero…

Well I USED to go out to lunch with my coworkers.
But for the past couple of months I’ve tried to bring my lunch to work and then spend the break reading and commenting on blogs I can get to (can’t get to Extreme John’s for some reason). I used to Twitter during lunch too, but one day last week “they” discovered it and locked Twitter down with WebSense so I can’t get into it from the office at all.
Luncbreak… I have lunch (duh! hehe) and then I read news and maybe some blogs. I eat lunch at my workstation so if I’m not working while having lunch, then I’m reading online news papers.
Christie, I’m sure there must be a way to access twitter? Maybe using a program or something so it just uses the twitter api, I don’t know
I guess I just don’t want to draw attn to myself.
See, I used to do all the Twitter I wanted during my lunch but one day we got new wide screen monitors and I stupidly joked to the infrastructure guy, “Oh gee, I wish I had a third one to just keep Twitter up all day.” He went back to his own office, and ten minutes later I tried to hit Twitter and was blocked by Websense. I hate for him to see in the log that I tried again. 
I go to this cafe and have a nice lunch and just relax, do my best to forget about all the pressure and work ahead of me. I sometime take a piece of paper and pen and just draw funny objects or take notes down about ideas that pop into my head.
I do my best to not be in front of any PC during lunch, it’s me time.
I work from home – all day is a lunch break
The more I think about it the more I guess I’m lucky to live this lifestyle. Once the money is sorted the rest is totally hassle free.
When I’m having a proper break though I like nothing more than to go and sit on some rocks and do some fishing, well at least until I get my boat anyway.
Definitely checking emails, twittering and visit some blogs if I can.
Although I do get a lot of advises to take a short nap to keep myself refresh. It’s funny that I’m using lunch break to do more work instead of taking break. ha.. I guess we never see ourselves as having enough time to do anything, maybe it’s just me.
Today is a big exception, I closed my laptop and went out and take a deep breath instead. Never felt better.

Like Doug I eat my lunch on my lunch breaks.
But I’m a fast eater so normally I still have plenty of time to burn. So either I will take a quick nap or go out the building for a breath of fresh air…okay not so fresh air. If there’s still time left then I go and have a little chit chat with my co workers trying to catch up on the latest gossips, I mean news
