What Will Make You Happy

by Deneil Merritt on September 14, 2009

I am sure somebody has asked you this question before, maybe even yourself. I know I ask myself this question all the time. The reason I ask myself this question all the time is really simple to understand. Once you know what will make you happy. You can come up with a plan to get what will make you happy. Once you have that plan, you can truly let your desire drive your motivation to be successful.

For example, I am going to use myself. I got a list of things that will make me happy when it comes to financial. Anything else it starts to get complicated so lets just focus on financial. Here’s my list of things that will make me happy.
1. Online business reach and maintain $10,000 a month or higher.
2. Pay my debt off completely.
3. Minimum of $10,000 in a savings accounts.
4. New apartment or condo. I rather have a condo on the beach though. :)
5. A brand new benz. I really love this car.
6. Start a real estate business. I want to be a real estate investor.

Financially, this would make me happy. It will also give me time to focus on other parts of my life such as having time to work out, work on my relationship, and most importantly get to know myself a little better.

I think by knowing what would make us happy. There is nothing that can stop us from becoming successful. It’s only a matter of hard work, smart work, and time. The big change will come, no matter if it takes 3 months or 3 years. The work we do with our blogs will pay off.

Take some time and make the list of things that will make you happy.

Wow, some of your points might take some time to achieve, but you could do them all.

What makes me happy ………
1. Knowing my son will grow up and do his best
2. would like to work full time on the net
3. Don’t need the best lifestyle, but something plain and simple
4. Being able to spend more time with friends and family
5. Being able to go see more places around the world

I know some of my points are basic, but that’s what would make me happy.

lol Deneil..sounds like it’s all “money, money, and money” :D .. quite different with George

I’m more like George, have just enough money but plenty of happiness from families, friends, and lifestyle :)

But of course, we all love being rich and all

Nice list George, I hope you get everything on your list.

I wouldn’t say your list is basic. The list is all about what make you happy so everybody list will be different.

Michael, I don’t see how my list is funny. That is the things that will make me happy. It’s not all about money but money is the base.

I am happy for you that your list is like George’s list. Your list doesn’t require as much money as mine for the lifestyle you want.

Deneil,

Great list. I can see those things making you happy and I can’t wait for you to have all of them. You are so driven and focused, I know it’s just a matter of time!

Yeah, I read somewhere if you seen something work for others and you working hard at it and for some reason it doesn’t work. Don’t give up. Focus it to work!

I completely agree with you. Completing a goal on the list is all about self satisfaction to achieve happiness.
