I been thinking about buying the domain that is my name for awhile now. I see a few bloggers here and there with their first and last name as the domain. I think its pretty cool to own my name. So, finally I made the move and bought the domain. Many of you know me as “KushMoney” I will no longer go by that name when I comment on your blogs.
Who am I?
For those you that don’t know. My name is Deneil Merritt, owner of the kushmoney network, and author of this beautiful new blog. 
I am so over joyed to have this blog that I don’t even know what to write in this first post. OK, since this blog is my personal blog. You all will get to know me at more. Anything from food I like, traveling, to what’s going on with my poker career. Since this is not a niche blog, I can cover any topic I want to. This is going to be sweet. This reminds me, I have to buy me a new camera. I love taking random pictures.
As many of you read my old blog, Its going to be all about poker. I have also thought to myself what I want to do with my other websites. I am going to sale most of them. The ones that aren’t making much money anyway. All of my day to day deals of buying and selling websites and services all be on the official network site. No more top commentators monthly contest. I want readers not people whom only come to comment. I know this will bring down the amount of comments per post I will get but I am fine with that. I will add my coaching on this blog later. Maybe after I get my new apartment.(Long time from now)

Having a domain for your name does give you the freedom to talk about anything that you feel defines you, both personally and professionally. I bought a domain for my name recently, which I plan to encompass all of my projects and hobbies, once I get enough going.

Yeah, the freedom to write anything has my mind really going. It allows people to really get to know me. Both personally and professionally. I am going to try to write a few articles to get started. Maybe some poems.

Bold move. I am sure a lot of time and energy went into building the name Kushmoney. But you are right, why not use your name? And why not let it be what ever you want?
I registered my brothers name quite some time ago and have thought about my own and my sons…

You right, I spent over a year building the kushmoney brand. Now its time for me to start over. It feels like I am a brand new blogger but with a bit of resources.
I am sure you would have fun owning your own name. Buy it and let your mind go at it.

Selling your other websites might be hard, I’m not sure how long that would take. I’m sure you know where to go and how much you require from it.

Got to love owning your own name even if its just your surname. Its still yours! I like your blog, always fun to read your posts.
Selling websites is never hard for me. Well one site, but every time I don’t sell it. I sell enough links on it to cover the price I was going to sell it for. So it make sense to keep it.
Have you ever done a post on selling websites?
I think I did one round this time last year on kushmoney. Are you learning how to flip websites?
I’ve never done it but you never know when this information will come in handy.

lol yeah, I bet a lot of people thought the same thing. Well I have a feed reader with over a 100 blogs. Commenting does bring in a nice amount of traffic. I started this blog same day as it’s first post. Which is this one. lol.
