This is one of my poems from 2006 or 2007. I am really not sure what year it was. I found it and thought somebody may like it. I remember it being a emotional night and I was thinking how much I love my girl and mother. How much I really missed my mother. So I did what comes best for me to get over tings. I wrote this short poem and I still have it to this very day.
Heart Of Light
My queen (Deneene) Birth me (Deneil)
Known to me as mother
Has the best in mind for me
But lost her way, same time found her way to God
God touch this earth and made a queen for me
Put us both through struggles to understand one another
Bring us together in a time I was ready for a queen
My queen (Larisse) whom changed my life forever
From the queen that birth me to the queen I have
Love from my heart til it beats no more
Wishing my queen was alive with me
To understand why and how much I love my queen
That God has blessed me with
Wondering would my mother be happy for me
Or find something she don’t like about her
Either way she still my queen
Life is finally wonderful since the last time we spoke in our home, sweet home.
From my past of joy and pain to the future
My queen gave birth to a prince
That’s finally became a king with a queen on his side.
My queens, is my queens
My heart full with love

Very nice poem Deneil. You’re a great writer. I used to do some poetic writing — it really does help get through bad times, or at least seems to help.

I personally am writing a novel right now, and it is going great. I need to get into poetry though. My brother actually just got into it.

Let it all out, we all need to find more time and express ourselves so that the emotions do not take over us. Queens is a nice way of describing your mom and your better half.
Sounds like this king has blossomed into someone that can rule a country and take his people forward
