Yeah, its that time again. We all love this time of the month. When those brave enough to show how much they make online. No matter if its ten cents or ten thousand dollars. We put it all out there for the world to see. Personally I love this time of the month just like you. I get to check all my accounts to see if I made any money and post here for you to see and I surf the web looking at other bloggers and affiliates posting their earnings. I think I just like seeing the numbers. Anyways, lets get into the traffic and earnings stats.

In The Mind Of Deneil Merritt…
This past month was a very long month for me. I didn’t make posts on here. I spent my time preparing websites for sale. I took about the path I was taking to make money and notice it wouldn’t make me happy and it would take too long to make a full time income. I did some research on starting a web hosting business and this seem like the smartest path I can take for my online business. The hardest part of running a web hosting business in my eyes is providing great support 24/7. After a month or 2 of hard work and a ton of promotion. I am sure I can afford to hire a few people to provide support around the clock.
I know so of you thinking why am I making these changes in my business? Well to be completely truthful with you as always. Running so many websites by myself is not providing me enough money nor enough time to follow my passion. I love playing poker and throughout this past month. I spent some time to play a lot of poker! It really help me clear my mind and know what I want for me and my business. I just want to run a business that brings in a nice income monthly and have time to play poker.
So here’s my plan…
Start an web hosting business and promote via free methods. Unlike normal business owners making money. I will not save money for an advertising budget. I will save money to buy other web hosting businesses. (Nice way to get fast growth) Since my goal is $10,000 monthly income. (Just like in the footer) I will be working really hard to grow my business.
I am thinking about taking on a partner for the web hosting business. There’s one person I trust enough to go into their web hosting business with for a number of reasons. Him and Italk every week. We use to talk everyday however our projects got in the way. Who I am I talking about? Caden of course. He’s a good friend of mine and I trust him 100% to be my partner. It’s really hard to gain my trust because I have trust issues. Life made me not trust people.
Now the other half of my business. I have a poker blog to blog about my passion. I have a poker website/forum about poker commercials, tournaments, and online poker rooms. I will take around $100 or so from my web hosting business profits to buy my membership into outstanding poker and to play poker with. I will be blogging about how the poker training program help me become a profitable poker player. I will also be posting my big wins and bad beats in the poker forum. With my winnings I will be hosting poker tournaments to grow the poker forum. This will get players signing up to the training program and online poker rooms I promote on my sites. The training program is a clickbank product and the poker rooms pay up to 40% revenue share for life!
So that is my plan to make $10,000 a month. Short term (first 3 months) I am thinking the revenue would be at least $1k – $3k. Depending on how much promotion I can do and how many other hosting businesses I can buy. Long term (year or so) I am sure the hosting business alone will be well over $10k a month. As for the poker side of my business. I would say short term (first 3 months) up to $500 or so. Long term (year or so) my poker affiliate accounts will bring in well over $10k a month easy.
With that being said. I will not be working on anything else. I know some of you wondering where does that leave this blog? Well I will blog about how business is going but this blog will slowly become more about me, my life, and less about making money online.
In other news, I recently broke off my 3 year relationship. If you and I are friends on facebook, you already knew that. With all the changes being made to my business and me now being single. I feel like I am starting life over in a sense. You know? The pain is still there from my “past” life but my new life looks so nice I don’t have time to let the “past” life get to me.
Cheers to a new life, a better life!

Good luck on your web hosting business. Greg Ellison
Thanks Greg.
Don’t worry, be happy. That’s what I always do. Wish you have a better life.
I am trying my best to be happy. Thank you Jayce. I wish you a good life too.
You should be happy man, there is still lot of up and downs in the life which we have faced. So be ready every time. good luck.
It’s hard to be happy when you no longer with the one you love. So true there’s alot more ups and downs to come in life. Ill be ready
Thanks for the luck.
Seems some of your stats have gone down. I did realise that you were posting very little last month. I guess we all need time off, good luck with the poker.
Good luck with your new partner if you decide to go with it.
Yeah, I only made 3 posts last month. One resulted in a affiliate sale.
Yeah, a break was need to really decide where I want to take my business. Thanks for the luck. I notice my poker skills have been getting better lately.
Thanks for the luck, yeah I contacted my friend and we will be partners.
A respectable figure indeed; though I think if you held on to your sites for a period of 30days (to get some income to them) they will sell for a greater amount. For example the second niche site i’m flipping; I was going to sell it for $50 a month or so earlier but now i’ve already got a bid for $200 (hoping for 5) just because I waited 30days for traffic/bit of income to appear.
I wanted quick sales not big sales. If I wanted big sales, I would have sold them on flippa and not dp. Good luck with your sale though.
You leave $150 because you want a quick sale?
Not for the quick sale. I save myself work I didn’t want to do!
Good luck on your web hosting business. Also good luck on achieving yuor $10.000 monthly goal.
I think your stats have decreased quite a bit. Maybe because you didn’t post very often this month.
Thank you, its going to be a long road.
Yes, indeed. However, the income more than double since the other month.
“I know some of you wondering where does that leave this blog?”
I could see you become one of those “blogging CEO’s” that use your blog to blog about your other businesses instead of SEO, health, movies, sports, thesis etc. you’ve been posting on deneilmerritt.com until now.
lol, I’ve always been that way. I have always blog about blogging, SEO, and etc. and I always blog about my other businesses. Which there will be a lot more posts about health, food, me, and etc. Which includes business.
A person can only blog about blogging and making money online for so long. I got bored. lol Time to run a business that brings in lots of cashflow.
Hey Deneil,
It’s nice of you to share with us your plans for your new web hosting business. It’s always a good idea to have a plan in place and plan for the future. Looks like you’re heading in the direction you want to go. I wish you the best on your new venture.
Yeah, always best to go with a plan and not shotgun it. You know? Thank you for the kind words.
The only thing you could improve is finding a more competitive market.
. You’re gonna promote with free methods? k. Guess companies spending money advertising are douchebags. Maybe they should just keep money for poker. Since most companies sell for quite a bit above earnings how you gonna buy more hosting companies??? Debt to equity ratio = fail.
Wow, I guess you in the fail mindset huh? You really should stay out of other people’s business unless you have some good advice or saying nice job.
Yep I must be in the fail mindset. And I should only say nice things that people want to hear. Concerning the staying out of other people’s business, you have a blog I’m bored, if you want me to stay out delete blog.
Look maybe you can pull it off with free advertising and purchase more companies to squash competition. But dude seriously, web hosting is super competitive, what are you gonna bring to the game. Great service? Gimme a break… no one gives a shit beyond the basic answering tickets, and you couldn’t put it across in a way that they would give a shit.
If you start purchasing companies with high debt, supposing you can somehow leverage an asset somewhere you’re gonna be spending shit tons servicing that debt + expense of servers + customer douche-baggery etc. Then you got to manage staff.
I don’t get this shit about why I should say “nice job”, are you that unsure of yourself you need people to tell you what a great job you do. Fuck it ignore me and prove you can pull it off. I’m a fucktard anyway, just laying my concerns out there about issues with the plan. More than most of the folks out there would even bother to do. Most will just go “oh nice job blah blah”, yeah helpful. Fuck it they just want people to click through to their own sites they don’t give a damn about your blog.
I can feel your pain, my friend. however, all the unhappy thing will be gone as time goes by and as what Jayce mentioned “Don’t worry, Be happy” I’m sure you can become more stronger than before. Good luck with you business.
Thanks for the kind words Lee.
That’s some real stuff, Deneil; what a month you had. I’m with you on wanting to make money faster than you’re making it now online; good luck to you on the web hosting and the rest.
As for the poker,… man, I want to play also!
Thanks for understanding.
As for poker, I will see you at the tables once I get things straighten out with pokerstars.
It’s good to see that you are willing to look at new things rather than just sitting on your ass waiting for things to happen. I wish you all the luck with your new venture.
Yeah, I can’t just sit around doing nothing. Not my style. Thanks for the luck.
I understand your feeling now Deneil, I went through this process in the past, it was bad! But don’t worry Deneil, time can cure your pain, good thing will come in future.
Anyway, wish you all the best with your online business especially web hosting business ok?
Cheer up Deneil!
Regards,
Lee
Thanks Lee. You always got something good to say.
It is nice to get an update from you and I wish you a lot of luck in the web hosting business. I have been trying to figure out what i should be spending my time with > i have too many projects and I am not digging in enough with any of them.
lol thanks for the luck. Yeah, I know what you mean. That’s why I sold out the sites I wasn’t focused on. Well most of them. Just have to find something you are passionate about.
$75 with Domain / Website Flipping, Good luck with your business
yeah, only cost me to register the domain name to build it so that was pretty ok. Thanks for the luck.
Deneil, you have great earning on October, I’m sure you can make even more money on November. You show us that website flipping is actually a great way to make money. I do have a question, how much you spent on the website and flipped it at $75?
Calvin
October was ok. This month is more like my style. As for the website flip. It cost me less than $10 to make it.
