L.A. Lakers are my favorite basketball team since I was a kid. Last night they won their 15th championship. When it comes to basketball between my dad, my girlfriend, and myself. Things are very serious. Last year I had to blog about the Lakers lost against my dads favorite team Boston Celtics.
My girlfriend totally hates the Lakers because almost everybody shows love the Lakers. In her words “Laker fans are the worst, say anything about the lakers and they blow up” Talking with me about the lakers you know she got an ear full. She was praying that the Lakers lose against Orlando Magic.
I told her Lakers was going to win the finals 4 – 2 but after that win in game 4 I changed that prediction to 4 – 1 Lakers. I slept most of the day until the game was going on, then I fell right to sleep after that kid was done singing, and woke up 5 minutes before the game was over. Seeing that the Lakers was winning, I started to give my girlfriend a ear full of Laker’s fan trash talk.
She was mad the Lakers won the finals, I couldn’t be happy. I told her she was mad the Miami Heat didn’t make it to the finals. We maybe in South Florida but that doesn’t mean I have to like the Miami Heat. Lakers is my team since I was a kid until the time I die. She told me “You need to go live in L.A. then” I laughed and told her I just might do that. lol
Just to make her happy I worked out with her. She like to pick training videos with on demand since we have comcast. I don’t remember the lady name but it was called abs and back workout. OMG, I wanted to slap my girlfriend and the lady while doing it. My abs was really hurting during that workout.
OK, back to the Lakers winning the NBA finals. 2 more championships and Lakers will be tied with Boston for the most NBA championships. This is going to be a battle to remember over the next few years. I can’t wait until the day L.A. Lakers pass Boston Celtics with the most championships in the NBA. Then I will be able to throw in my dads face since he always winning the conversion by saying Boston has won the most championships in the league.

The Lakers have been my favorite team since I was a kid also, and I’ve been lucky to have seen most of those Laker championships. I live in NY, so people around here didn’t care that the Lakers won, and I just enjoy smiling at the thought as often as I did.

Yes! another Lakers fan. Kobe didn’t do it by himself but he do know how to be the coach on the court.
Thank god another Lakers fan. It seems like everybody was going for Orlando to beat L.A. How you feel about us being so close to Boston with championships? I know I can’t wait until we pass them to have the most in the NBA.
A whole lot of hate, if you ask me. But I don’t mind that; winners always draw a lot of haters. lol
And I hate Boston even more, so there you go.
Yeah, I think so too. I guess knew deep down inside we was going to win the championship.
