January 2010 Income Report

This past month was a blast. I set my goal to make $500 and blew that out of the water, I had my birthday which was a pretty fun day, and my mentor bought me this book called the great salesmen in the world. Because of him and that book, I stayed focus and got myself in high gear working my butt off. I wouldn’t trade him for another mentor even if you tried to pay me a million bucks. Hands down he is one of the greatest mentor’s and friend you could ever have. Thanks for putting the fire under my butt Jess. Pretty good traffic since I don’t post here much. Maybe I should take the time to write out 30 articles and set them to post 1 a day. Don’t know what I will write about though. If you guys and gals have any ideas what you want to read about please let me know. Don’t tell me interviews with super affiliates or A-list bloggers. I am just like you, I don’t have connections with them and for the most part, I don’t want connections with them.

This month I will post more than I did over the past months. I am sick of looking at my blog with no new blog posts. My poker blog is growing almost daily and this one has been a bit on the left behind table. So be ready for a few posts that will make you think about your business and how you can improve it. As far as blogging goes, I think I can come up with one or 2 articles to help you with your blog. Now for my network income report.

Now that’s the way to start the year. As I said before, my goal for the first month was $500 but I was really hoping to reach $1k. Around $250 short of $1k. Nice month. I hope everybody started off their year on a good track. Now to keep this up and keep growing through the year…..

In The Mind Of Deneil Merritt…
Let’s see what’s going through my mind about last month and plans for this month. I couldn’t be happier about the income. Really got me looking forward to this month. My birthday was pretty fun and I played poker live for the first time a few days after. I played like 3 days in a row. Lost around $120 lol. My mentor bought me the book “The Greatest Saleman In The World” and I must say, I love it and recommend it to anyone trying to get a grab hold of their business. On a personal note, I finally kicked my ex-gf out my life for good. No she is not even my bestfriend anymore.

Now my plans for this month. Where to begin? Let’s start with the mini sites. The mini site I made to promote Reefer Poker is doing ok the search engines. Ranks #7 at the moment, this month I’ll do my best to push that up to #3. My mini site I made to promote the sun poker bonus finally hit the first page of google. This month I will do my best to push it from #9 to #1. My other 6 mini sites in the poker niche are still in development. So this month, I plan on finishing them all.

One project I place on hold since the summer received a sign up a few days ago. I thought it was odd until I check to see where it ranked. (#1 for its name) So I guess I will have to put some effort into this project some time during this month. I know some of you are going to ask what is it. It’s a membership site that teaches you how to flip websites and blogs. I will not say the domain name just yet because I will get a ton of sign ups I just don’t need right now. I have 3 modules planned out. I will do my best to complete module #1 by the end of the month.  I know all of you are sick of these membership sites with a monthly bill. So tell me a price you would like to pay yearly (any price you want) and ill think about it.

I made a mini site/blog about how to get started in poker affiliate marketing to help my MLM marketer friends get started. So I will be posting 1 to 3 new articles on it per month as I learn more stuff. So far what I learn in the poker niche is the same as any other niche. However, their CTA (call to action) are a lot more define and their SEO skills are far better then any other niche. I am pretty happy almost all of them are not moving into non-gambling niches. They would take over the first page rankings of many of my non-gambling affiliate marketer friends.

Now onto my baby (Poker Commercials), this is the biggest project I have ever planned. Funny thing is, my budget is no where near the amount I need to complete it. So as always, if you don’t have a budget to pay for something. You have to think of other ways to get things done. Which is what I am going to do. I have enough for the software (since im moving away from wordpress with this one), so I will cut deals for the content. I will have to build a budget for the videos, promotions, and etc. Lucky, this is a year long project so no need to worry about things. I got it all figured out.
