In my post why make money online bloggers slow down on posts. I got a few comments from people saying they slowed down on posts as well. So today, I want to help those who have cut down on posts. If any of you need content, I am available to be interviewed. Just send me an email via contact page.
How To Get Free Content via Interview
Ask your favorite professional bloggers, affiliate marketers, or whom ever you like for an interview. Tell them the benefits of doing the interview like an backlink to their site and new readers. Nobody in their right mind will turn you down.
For every interview you do, you want to ask a minimum of 10 questions. Don’t go over the edge with questions though. Send the questions via email and wait for the answers. I recommend interviewing a minimum of 5 people. Run a interview series on your blog. If you use to posting daily, post one interview a day. If you post every 3 days, then don’t change it. Post one interview every 3 days.
You can really use this as leverage if you want to make sure you don’t run out of content. Keep the interviews until you don’t have anything to post. Publish one of the interviews. Then go back to making your daily posts. Run out of things to say again, publish another interview.
By the time you run out of interviews. (If you got a lot of them) Your blog should be full with content that rank pretty well in google and the other search engines. I always seen people that interviewed me and used my name in the title. Ranked in the top 10 in google.
I hope this helped you out with getting free content via interviews.

I think it is great to do interviews but I have never conducted an interview before. I might have to try it one of these days. Greg Ellison
Great idea Deneil. Personally I love to read inspirational interviews as long as it’s not those old boring questions everyone ask. Most of the popular bloggers have already gone through several different interviews and therefore it’s up to you to do something different. Do some research on the specific blogger and ask questions no one would have thought of asking before.
I wouldn’t mind being interviewd, but I think I would find it a bit odd if the interview was just meant to be a “filler” for days where there’s nothing else to post about – but maybe that’s just me
Some day I would also love to do some interviews myself, preferable with video, maybe using the “double ender” technique, so instead of recording a streaming webcam chat, both parties are recording their own video and audio and then sending over the files for them to be edited together – should make a much better looking result in the end.
I’ll take you up on that once I get more visitors to actually sign up as commentators or contributors rather than just view and split.
Deneil,
Yeah, interviews can be great for everyone involved. Getting the right questions can be a little tough – at least it has been for me, but I’m no journalist. it is well worth the effort, though.
Cheers
