First off I want to say sorry for not posting today’s Flashback Monday earlier. I woke up late and spent time with my girlfriend watching the food channel. I seen some really good meals I want to cook.
This has been ups and downs to the fullest. A few days ago all my websites went down, which made me really think about my business expenses. So I bought a reseller account at hostgator. I transferred all the sites that do not use wordpress but I am still waiting on hostgator to transfer my blogs. Since I do not know how to transfer blogs from one host to another, I have to relay on others. I even read how to do but still not sure of myself to do it so I will let the professionals do it.
In other news, I launch my ebook. Since I am not that good at internet marketing, the launch was really weak. After thinking about it. I picked the wrong day to do a launch. I didn’t buy any paid posts on well known blogs. So to make up for that I bought an ad slot on johncow. I was going to buy a few more ad slots on some other blogs as well but the budget is for buying my girlfriend laptop. Which should be pretty soon.
Next time I launch an ebook I will make sure to create a buzz for it. You live and you learn.

This past week I didn’t do many posts. I asked is your blog a community? and revealed how I make money on twitter. I did my very first video on this blog called bad day or good day? I launch my ebook on the posted called “Learn How To Start Your Mailing List” and launched it on the worst day. I am so disappointed in myself on how I launch my ebook. I just may relaunch my ebook next month just to do it the right way.

Sounds like it wasn’t the greatest week.
But like you said, you live and you learn. Sorry your launch didn’t go better.
Just because your launch wasn’t that big though, doesn’t mean you can’t keep selling your product and generating revenue. Just market it.
My week wasn’t the greatest either, but I am hoping this one will be a lot better.
As far as your product launch, I agree with Caden… there is no reason you cannot continue to make sales. But more importantly, “YOU LAUNCHED YOUR FIRST PRODUCT”! Most people never get to that step and you did it. A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on that accomplishment. On top of that you learned a lot about launching a product, and you probably discovered it is really not that hard to do. Now each time you create a new one you will learn and more… and get better at it each time! GREAT JOB!
I totally agree with Doug. To me, you really started this making money online business. I am very strick when I judge people, but you gave me a really good impression since the first time I visited your blog. You seems serious and motivated to continue this business. We cannot call these error “mistakes” as you make some benefit by learning from your mistakes! You are on your way to become an A-blogger!
I had a total crap week last week and am moving forward into this week with a smile on my face, thank you for the Flashback Monday as always.
Hey bro,
Thanks for the link love and if you ever need some tech support, let me know. It’s free of course!
Deneil,
I wasn’t wondering where you want the last few days. Sorry to hear things didn’t go to well recently. No worries though — things will pick up. You’re a hardworking guy. Thanks for the Flashback Monday — I’ll check all these out.
I really like this series and it is a great way to rehash the week that was while looking forward to the new week. Thanks for highlighting some of my posts in your series.
It’s great to see that you’ve actually switched your hosting to hostgator, I’m going to switch my current hosting to Hostgator soon too. I believe that most of you do have slow loading time while visiting my blog, don’t you?
I do suggest you to buy paid post on others blog (Well known established blog, but it may costs you quite a lot), or write an article and submit to article directories such as EzineArticle. Btw, I’m sure you spent a lot by ordering a banner in JohnChow blog? Mind to reveal how much is it?
Regards,
Lee
I really like this post because I am trying to learn everything I can about blogging and this is very helpful to me.
Don’t know what’s happened but your permalinks have changed, maybe in the process of transferring this site? I had one of your posts bookmarked and got a 404 when I tried to go to it.
Some really nice posts you have listed above, you have given me some reading to do now.
Thanks for the rockin’ rec, Deneil. Off to check out the other flashbacks.
Cheers!
You right, I just need to market it.
I hope you have a good week this week.
Thank you. That is so true, most people do not launch their own product. I did learn a lot of this launch and I have a lot more to learn.
Wow, all I can say is thank you.
I am trying to do the same. All we can do is keep moving forward. You welcome
You welcome, you always got some great stuff. You know I am going to have to take you up on your offer. I am not a tech person (I wish I was) so I do need help from time to time.
Yeah, after the video I took a break. Pretty good break. You welcome. I hope you enjoy the articles.
Yeah, that’s how I feel about the series I read. I always come across blogs I never knew about from other people’s series.
Lee, I see people always recommend hostgator. I notice my sites load a lot faster than before. Yeah, your blog is slow loading sometimes/or most of the time. Switching to hostgator is a good idea.
I prefer buying ad slots over paid post for one reason. paid post drive traffic that first day and then sits there on a blog with no traffic to it for the rest of the blogs life. While an ad slot drives traffic for as long as you are renting that ad slot.
Yeah, I will be doing some articles to submit to ezinearticles soon.
I bought an ad slot of JohnCow not JohnChow. If you want to know the prices look on their advertisement pages.
Cool, check out the other Flashback Monday posts and my posts about blogging. While you are here grab my ebook on how to make a blog ready for success.
Yeah, they have changed back to normal now. You should not have a problem now.
You welcome, I hope you enjoy them.
Thanks for the link back. Well it looks like you have did some changes in last few hours because I saw so many database errors..Did something went wrong?
Thank you, I do my best even though I didn’t read that many articles throughout the week.
You welcome. Yeah, I was checking some things out and made a few changes…Yeah, nothing to serious though.
