If you have been my reader for over a year with my other blog then you know my top 3 favorite movies. Since I want to re-post that article without creating the same content. I am doing my top 5 favorite movies. The 5th movie just might shock you. Welcome to my world and get to know me a bit better.

My Top 5 Favorite Movies

State Property

State Property

State Property (Rated R) – This is my all time favorite movie. It keeps me entertain the whole time. I can watch it over and over again. Each time trying to learn new things I can apply to internet marketing. The movie is about a man that is sick of being broke, he makes a plan, put together a team, and take action on his plans. There is a serious to be learned for internet marketers, bloggers, and affiliates by watching this movie. I always say there’s nothing better than learning a lesson by watching others.

What did I learned from this movie?
I learned to make a plan, take action, and don’t think things will come to me by sitting around doing nothing.

Jumper

Jumper

Jumper (Rated PG-13) – This is my all time favorite travel movie. I know you thinking, what? The movie cover some many places in the world. I could just watch it over and over again. It shows a lot of the places I would love to visit. The movie main focus is about a boy who can jump anywhere in the world that he has already been too. He is still in love with the girl he knew in high school. It’s a must see movie.

What did I learned from this movie?
I learned that big dreams is a really great motivational tool. It can really drive you to do better by working hard and smart.  I learn to let the power of desire drive my motivation.

The Lion King

The Lion King

The Lion King (Rated G) – This is my all time favorite kid movie. No matter how old you are. You can sit down and enjoy this movie. Give me some popcorn, a drink, and I will watch it over and over again. The movie is truly great for family night. If you haven’t seen the movie. Its about a lion cab that grows up and take over the family kingdom as the king, the rightful ruler. I bet some of you can’t even think of a lesson to be learned from this movie to apply to blogging or internet marketing.

What did I learned from this movie?
I learned that I am king in my world. If I don’t treat myself as royalty, how can someone else treat me and respect me as a king. I learn to be the voice in my life and speak as royalty. Speak as a leader and people will follow.

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight (Rated PG-13) – This has to be the longest movie in my top 5 favorite movies list. This is one of my favorite movies for so many reasons. First off it has my favorite villain in it. Yes, the joker is my favorite villain. The movie is about batman vs joker and the main focus is justice. There are so many things we can learn from this movie to apply to our blogs or our online businesses.

What did I learned from this movie?
I learn that no matter the odds stacked up against you. If you keep your mind focus and keep working at your dream you can overcome any challenge. (My obsessive compulsive disorder to pull out my hair comes to mind)

The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada (Rated PG-13) – I love this movie. Shocking huh? Anytime this movie comes on tv I stop what I am doing to watch it. I totally love the clothes in this movie. I can pick out  clothes and dress a woman far better than I can pick out clothes and dress myself. (Sad but true) There are a few things to be learned from watching this movie that can be applied to blogging. SO WATCH IT!

What did I learned from this movie?
Besides about women clothes? lol. I learn to decide what I want out of life and go it. Never forget who I am as a person and stay focus on my goals. I learn that hard work does pay off in the long run. (Bloggers read that again)

Those are my top 5 favorite movies of all time. I can just watch them over and over. I know some you still can’t believe that “The Devil Wears Prada” is one of my top favorite movies. All I can say about that is watch it and see for yourself why I like it. Each of these movies are “must see” movies in my eyes. They are all great in their own way.

Great movie selection :) I love 99% of all animations and feel that sometimes they are even better than the normal movies.

I liked Lion King 1 more than the number 2 or 3. Some movies come out with following sequences and 50% are a hit while others are just not the same. A good example is Speed, number 1 was ok, but number 2 was just plain terrible.

I have my own DVD collection and have posted my titles on my website. I use to have more, but gave some to my son when I got divorced. My collection includes classics, animations, adventure, love, etc. I currently have 100 titles and that will increase in time.

Go have a look – you can view it at Serradinho DVD Collection.

I hope you don’t mind me putting my link here?

Just started following you on Twitter

Yeah, animation movies are always great. There are tons more I like. They just didn’t make the top 5.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on The Lion King. The first one is awesome the others not so much. Speed, don’t get me started on Speed 2. What the hell was they thinking?

I am going to check it out. I don’t mind the link at all. Its on topic and I get to see what movies you like.

Thanks, I think I am following you, if not I will be soon.

Deneil… Those are all great movies, but none in my top 10. It is late and I am tired, so I probably am going to miss some of my favorites, but here are some (in no particular order):

- Shawshank Redemption
- Braveheart
- Usual Suspects
- Fast Times at Ridgemont High
- Rocky 1
- Godfather (1 & 2)
- Gladiator
- Point Break (loved the action)
- Forrest Gump
- Goodfellas

I could actually come up with a bunch more, but that’s it for now :)

Good ones, especially the Lion King and The Dark Night. “So this is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.” Such a great movie. Good examples of high quality content that will make money forever too.

You should include some comedies too though ;) Look at the films where Simon Pegg stars as they’re SO funny…. ‘Hot Fuzz’, ‘Run Fatboy Run’, ‘How To Lose Friends and Alienate People’…. just look for the trailers on Youtube and you’ll see what I mean! :D

Jumper is my most favorite among the 5 in your list. I just simply love movies that aim to entertain to the max. It must be very awesome to have such ability.

I can’t help but notice that you too love kid movies. I have enjoyed watching the Lion King over and over with my kids. Just a few minutes ago I also happened to post my latest article in my blog. It’s not about the Lion King, but it’s about The Pup King in `Meet the Bandit`. I’m sorry, but I’m just so very proud of my pet pup, bandit, I have to mention it here.

Anyway, off the top of my head, I love most if not all space saga movies e.g.
– Star Trek
– Star Wars
Super hero movies e.g.
– Batman movies (even cartoons)
– Superman movies
– Daredevil

I also love movies about vampires and movies of Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks.

Great list Deneil. I agree with your choice on Lion King. It was my favorite movie as a kid — it just never gets old. I also like the Dark Knight. I’ve only seen bits and parts of the rest, but now that you mention them, it looks like I’ll have to check them out.

Yeah, there are great movies.

Well none of the comedies are in the top 5 favorites. I have seen Hot Fuzz and Run Fatboy Run. Really funny movies. I couldn’t stop laughing watching Hot Fuzz. I have never seen How To Lose Friends and Alienate People. I will have to check out. I will ask my girlfriend have she seen it. If not I will watch it with her.

Yeah, if I have the “Jumper” ability. I would use it to travel the world.

The Lion King is one of the best movies ever made. I haven’t mat anyone that didn’t like it. I will check out your post right now.

Now you know I just have to ask since you name both “Star Wars” and “Star Trek” Which one you like the most?

I love vampire movies. My favorite vampire movie is the whole “Under World” sage.

james moralde June 26, 2009 at 7:20 am

Hooo there, looks like we vibrate in the same frequency when it comes to movies. :)

I can’t really tell which among Star Wars and Star Trek I like most. I like the saber sword fights and the self-sacrifices in Star Wars and I like the awesome intelligence and loyalty of the crew of Star Trek (especially Spock and Kirk). Of course, the FX of both are superb.

Vampire movies? I guess I’ve seen them all. From the Anne Rice classics (Interview with a Vampire, etc.) to Underworld to Twilight, etc.

Thanks BTW for taking the time to comment on my blog. It meant a lot to me. I’m a newbie blogger and yet to learn the ropes.

Yeah, I have to agree with on the reasons to like both of them. I must say I am a Star Wars fan more. Its just something about the force. (lol, jk)

Yeah there are so many to watch. I seen Twilight, I thought it was pretty good.
