I know its not like me to only do 2 posts in a week. Well truthfully, I didn’t feel like making a blog post. I know there’s a lot more posts I need to make before I release the next update to blog ready success but I just didn’t feel like making a blog post. I did post my September 2009 income report and finally wrote the oiopublisher review. This week, I promise it will be a lot more posts. Maybe ill start doing 2 posts a day again. I seriously need to get that ebook update done right?

As you can see I have been doing a lot of reading. Learned a few things I thought may help you with your business.  I also did some posts that will surely help you learn from my mistakes and a few things I like in my blogging career. How to get targeted traffic from stumbleupon, why blog readers don’t buy, why my ebook never sold a copy, and every product needs an affiliate army.

All my posts wasn’t about teaching you though. I did write a post to learn you know that you can make money with Deneil Merritt.com affiliate program. In that post, I gave you a few tips how to get advertisers. I may hold a contest to see who can get the most advertisers. Cash prizes is always the best prizes. If I do hold a contest that just might be the prizes.

Speaking of contests, let’s talk about the contest coming up on Oct. 1st 2009. The comment contest on TechZoomIn.  I am really looking forward to this contest. So many bloggers have been posting about it and the contest is so easy. Just do what you normally do when you read a blog post you have something to say. Make a comment! Top 5 commentators will split $100 straight into their paypal accounts. I don’t know about you but I love speaking my mind and making comments. So this should be one great contest. Not just for the prizes though.

If you been a long time reader of mine, you know I like to get my name out there by commenting on other blogs. This is the perfect time to use the power of leverage. When the contest starts their will be a lot of bloggers commenting, this will be a great chance to find new blogs comment on and get your name out there. I know I know, that’s a lot of articles and link luv post series with a lot of articles. Well I hope this help you reach out to more bloggers. Blog commenting is what jump started this blog and mailing list building keeps it growing. As helpful as I am with all these blogging tips and make money online tips. There is one thing that really holds us back besides ourselves and that’s cash flow. In business, cash flow is king. That’s why for my 100th post, I have opened up my ad slots for advertisers and an affiliate program to sell those ad slots using oio publisher.

You should have no problem making money into your paypal account. I even gave out some tips to get you started selling the ad slots. Anyways, I came across a new method to make money online from one of my friends ebook. After I got done reading the ebook, I wrote a review post about it. You all know I really hate writing reviews but this is a product I believe in. I will do a case study as soon as I get some free time away from my projects. I am really big on building my mailing list. So I have been grabing as many ebooks on building a mailing list to learn more methods to build a mailing list. I have already started using some of the methods to build my mailing list and I am very happy with the results. One of the methods is internet marketing giveaways. I left the site hood bangin in the hands of my girlfriend and she really turning a dead site into an active one. A lot more visits coming in now. I added a few plugins to help out and added a newsletter using aweber. Also, I was looking at some of the new videos she added and came across one I just had to post here. I am a sucker for good food and just had to show you this post. Grilled Chicken and Grilled Potatoes with Roasted Garlic-Oregano Sauce. Anyway, one of my friends reached her 100th post. I didn’t write about much this past week. I normally pump out 6 articles and 1 video a week. I spent sometime working on other projects, doing my research on a business I am about to get into, and spent some time with my girlfriend and my brother. Mostly we just played games online, card game, and board game. It was pretty fun, it’s rare that I really sit down and enjoy playing games for hours these days.

I made a post about learning from your mistakes. Which I seem to do a lot. I guess its all for the best. I made a post yesterday, or should I say today but back date it for yesterday about my ebay, twitter case study. I sure some of you will like this way of making money on twitter.

Since I been working on a website to sale in a month or 2. I remember the small report I wrote about profiting from adbrite. I added it to signing up to my newsletter. So you get 2 free ebooks. The news I was really happy about is being the blogging coach for the VIP marketing forum. Always fun to help others and get my name out there at the same time.

I did take it back to the basics with 3 articles; Must have wordpress plugins, SEO friendly urls for better search results, and free content via interviews.

This past week I did a rant about too many wordpress updates. Didn’t know some many people agree with me. So I had some fun with the Fun Friday, internet withdrawal park edition. I may have a beach edition coming soon. To cater to my passion to help others I made three posts that is very useful for bloggers. I told my secrets how to use a link love post for promotion and how to sell direct ads and find advertisers. I also helped the thesis community by providing the codes on how to add 3 widget areas to the header in thesis.

Some of you may have notice I didn’t make a post yesterday. The reason behind that is very simple. I spent time with my girlfriend and didn’t want to be online. Sometimes, you just be in that mood where you don’t want to be near your computer. Well I was in that mood yesterday. I had a pretty good time. I hope you enjoyed your weekend.

I have been a very busy internet entrepreneur this past week. I can not say much about what I have been doing but I can say things are almost back to normal with my blog commenting. It’s time to reach new readers this month. Which I have done by shooting videos. I am on track to complete 4 videos this month. I started a new video blog post series. I completely revamp the sales page of Jump Start Mailing List. I also made a special bonus for those that buy the ebook. The bonus is not name on the sales page. It’s a nice surprise. I am also working on my affiliate marketing which should be up and running bringing in cash once I contact my web designer to do one page for me.

Over the past week I explain what to do when you have nothing to write and adsense in my business model. Cool thing is one of my family members contacted me on facebook and asked to teach her how to make money online. Knowing that she didn’t have a website and most likely didn’t want to make a website. I had to post the case study I was doing a bit early. So I couldn’t post the results in the post but you still can learn how to get started in affiliate marketing without a website.

We all like to save money, well I know I do. So I also posted August 2009 discount coupon codes for domains, hosting, and a special rebate for those that buy jump start mailing list.

My girlfriend went crazy with logo and ebook cover. She did some really nice pictures though. Glad she had fun with it. Now she learning how to do designs. Hopefully she will be my personal web designer soon. I can save money on web designs.

Flashback Monday – Income Report, Goals, & Thesis is a post from: Deneil Merritt - Journey through life

First off let me say sorry for posting this so late. I totally forgot my days of the week. I can’t believe it’s Monday again so fast. I came across some really good articles this past week. Income reports was posted during the 1st to 3rd. I am always happy to see those reports. No matter what numbers I see it motivates me to keep going. I seen gross income reports as low as $60 and high as high as $100k. They all make me want to work smarter and worker to bring my own income levels higher.

As you may have seen on my July 2009 income report, I finally pass the $1,000 mark. This month I will have to find another way to reach it as last month most of it came from my other blog. After going over some things for this month. I am sure $100 to $200 will come from my other blog. That leaves $800 to $900 to come from my ebook and affiliate marketing. Many people wish me luck, I thank you all for that. I hope you all reach $1,000 this month as well.

I made a few goals for this month that I will be real happy to complete. The following goals are 1,000 followers on twitter, 1,000 subscribers to my mailing list, 110 ebook sales which would result in completing my next goal $1,000. My other goals are traffic goals which is 10,000 visits and 25,000 pageviews. Oh yeah, how can I forget that I want to do 4 videos this month.

As you can see I bought the wordpress theme thesis. It will take me sometime to understand it and design it the way I want it. I bought mainly for SEO reasons but this theme should help with other things I want to do. If any of you know a web designer that will design my thesis theme for me in exchange for a site wide link. Please let me know.

This past week coming off a happy post like the top 5 reasons to take a break. I finally did my first rant. I just had to make my statement on the problem with helping people. I felt good after I wrote my rant. So I decided to help out people by posting on how to get off akismet blacklist. Going through the emotions this past week you know?

A good friend of mine posted a short story podcast. Head over to his blog and listen to his short story. It’s really good. I did blog commenting while I listen to it. Flashback Monday – eBook Launch, New Web Hosting is a post from: Deneil Merritt - Journey through life

First off I want to say sorry for not posting today’s Flashback Monday earlier. I woke up late and spent time with my girlfriend watching the food channel. I seen some really good meals I want to cook. This has been ups and downs to the fullest. A few days ago all my websites went down, which made me really think about my business expenses. So I bought a reseller account at hostgator. I transferred all the sites that do not use wordpress but I am still waiting on hostgator to transfer my blogs. Since I do not know how to transfer blogs from one host to another, I have to relay on others. I even read how to do but still not sure of myself to do it so I will let the professionals do it.

In other news, I launch my ebook. Since I am not that good at internet marketing, the launch was really weak. After thinking about it. I picked the wrong day to do a launch. I didn’t buy any paid posts on well known blogs. So to make up for that I bought an ad slot on johncow. I was going to buy a few more ad slots on some other blogs as well but the budget is for buying my girlfriend laptop. Which should be pretty soon.

Next time I launch an ebook I will make sure to create a buzz for it. You live and you learn.

This past week I didn’t do many posts. I asked is your blog a community? and revealed how I make money on twitter. I did my very first video on this blog called bad day or good day? I launch my ebook on the posted called “Learn How To Start Your Mailing List” and launched it on the worst day. I am so disappointed in myself on how I launch my ebook. I just may relaunch my ebook next month just to do it the right way.

Flashback Monday – 1,000 Comments and Social Media Marketing Challenge is a post from: Deneil Merritt - Journey through life

I have been very busy this past week. I fell behind in blog commenting big time. I will catch up on blog commenting this week so the traffic here will get another big jump. Of course lots more comments. Yesterday, I posted that the blog reach 1,000 blog comments so that was a nice milestone to reach.

I been working on my ebook that teaches you how to jump start your mailing list through blog commenting. Since my blog and mailing list is always growing from blog commenting. I thought this is the perfect ebook to write. I finish writing it a few days ago. I have my web designer working on the website. So far the design looks great. Very clean and simple. Truth be told I was thinking about putting this ebook for sell on clickbank for $27 before buying the 7 dollar secrets. Since I am always on a tight budget like most people. I set the price for $9.95 to help out those that really want to learn but can’t afford to spend $27 on an ebook. I hope you guys and gals enjoy the ebook and apply the knowledge you learn from it. I should be launching the ebook some time this week. (Hopefully)

In other news, I did 2 guest posts which was pretty fun. They are called how to start an article writing business and payoff your debt using a blog. 2 of my friends ask me to do a guest post on their blogs so I will be doing 2 guest posts week.

I went over the power of leverage last week. I must say that “leverage” is one of my favorite words. The is so many things we leverage in business and in life. I could not run my business without leverage. I went over what I do after I published a post. The post was pretty fun to do because I realize it helped so many people.

I turned the tables on you all with two posts by asking you guys and gals a question. If you have not read and answered the questions. Please go ahead and answer the questions why do you blog? and am I really a B-list blogger? I think you will have fun answering them. I also came across a really good post while I was on digg that show places to live in the world for $500 a month.

Since I am catering to my passion to help others. I need your help to help you. I want to start something new with Flashback Monday post series. If you finding blogs like I am by going to all of the commentators blogs and their commentators blogs and adding all of them to your RSS feed reader. You know its pretty hard to keep finding more because you see the same people over and over. You know we stuck in the same circuits (blog networks). I am in about 10 circuits and can’t seem to find more blogs. Maybe because I am not going to the main source but I like things convenient. So I want to do something that will help us all add more blogs to our RSS feed readers to drive traffic to our blogs via blog commenting.
