Over at kushmoney no matter how hard I try I could never get over 10,000 visits a month. I really had to think about why I am always under 10,000 visits a month. The answers was right in front of me the whole time. They was really simple answers, I guess that’s why I didn’t think of them. Some of them I did but not enough and others I didn’t bother to do.
Use Pictures
I use a picture here and there, nothing that will get searched in google image though. I always told myself when I get a new camera I would have use pictures more often. Well what if I never get a new camera? That was the problem right there. So what can I do until I get a camera? Use other people pictures and give them a linkback as the source of the picture. Even if I get traffic from the picture people will still follow the link to check out other pictures. That way the owner of the picture, get traffic as well. I seen a lot of monthly income reports on blogs that has traffic stats with traffic because of their pictures. I will have to remember to buy a flip camera when I make money from this blog. I like to use online earnings to become my online business.
Use Videos
I made 2 videos and used a few others. With videos you connect with your readers and soon to be readers. Using all the video sites out there with a linkback to your site brings in traffic. Making a funny video will get a lot of views on sites like youtube which will bring in traffic to your blog. I will be using the flip camera when I get one to do these videos. I got a few in mind that will be really funny and bring a lot of traffic to my blog.
Linking To Others In List Posts
I did this maybe once I think. You know this type of post, most bloggers call them “link love” others have came up with their own type of link love like kikolani with her Fetching Friday. People love it when you link to them and others thank you for the useful resources. I need to come up with my own type of link love to draw people to my blog.
Guest Posting
I did not do a guest post on anybody’s blog since I have started blogging. I have been asked to do a few but never got around to doing it. I will sure be doing guest posts before the year is over. I think it’s a great way to bring in traffic, new readers, and a nice way to get a linkback. Maybe I will try to do one guest post a month.
After going over all of this I realize I am standing in my own way to be a successful blogger. I know what it takes to be a successful blogger but lack the desire to be a successful blogger. With many projects going on I think its time to make my blogs successful. I own around 5 or 6 blogs new and old that all need some changes here or there. Over the next week I will be updating them all and making changes to make them a better place for visitors.

Try the Flickr – Advanced Search, and search for images that are in the Creative Commons License. They allow you to use their pics with a link back to them.
Thanks for mentioning my Fetching Fridays. When choosing how to do a regular link love, go with what feels the best. What types of articles do your find yourself enjoying every week?
You could have Social Media Monday or Blogging Resources Tuesday, etc. I went with Fridays because it seems like the day less people post, but the optimum day to review a week’s worth of stuff.
I got behind in my guest posting requests, and finally caught up with them… about two months late for a few, but they were awesome bloggers who still used my articles anyway. Most sites are always looking for guest bloggers, so even if you’re late, send in your ideas. They still may go for them!

I try to use my own photos wherever possible, but I have mad use of the ‘zemanta’ plugin to make searching for relevant pictures a lot easier. I also use the ‘linkluv’ technique when I get the chance. I reckon that utilizing your tips can only do good.

Did you ever think about creating your very own blog? There are many excellent platforms, but by far the best is Wordpress. It is easy to set up, however the themes just never fit my needs. I searched for a simple solution to this problem and realized that there wasn’t one. I then had a template custom made for my needs and was so happy with the outcome. I then decided to build a website that would show the world how to simply hire an expert in wordpress design.

Those are some good ideas, I think I have an idea of what I am going to do but will go over it to make sure I can do it every week.
I read some of your guest posts, they were pretty good. I will start some time next week to write all the guest posts in 2 or 3 days. Send them out to all the bloggers. Hopefully they all post the articles. My writing can be off sometimes but I think I will be ok.

I been pretty good. Yeah, it has been a while. I knew many people would stop coming to kushmoney after I focused only on poker. Its fine though, I think it was the best move for me. I realize that I am the brand when it comes to this business. No matter where I blog my true readers will follow.
Having my name allows me to blog about more personally things. Writing helps me deal with things and having a personal blog is perfect. I split all the topics I cover into 4 blogs.
