People start off on a project really focus on what their doing and truly believes its going to pay off. They do everything they can at first. Every time you talk to the person they happy about the project. A few months go by without any income or not a high enough income and people start to fall apart about the project.
How To Stay Focus?
There is an answer to get the owner back on track. The solution is very easy and one of those ah ha moments. When you start to feel like you can no longer believe in your own project, write down the reasons why you started the project in the first place and where you wanted the business to go. That alone puts a smile on my face.
When I Found The Reason To Believe
I was unhappy blogging at kushmoney with the way it was. I could have just looked for more sponsors and sold them advertising to make me feel better, but I knew money wasn’t the problem with kushmoney. My problem was building a brand around kushmoney and not myself. When it comes to blogging, you are branding yourself with every service and/or project you release. Once I realize this it was time for me to buy the domain that’s my name.
Believing In Your Work Is Believing In Yourself
The reason I say this is because whenever you believe in your project and believe in yourself to complete that project. It rolls into a nice round ball like you want your money to flow. You send money on promotion, people buy product, and more money into your pocket. The circle of online business keeps on rolling.
I Put My Faith In A Project
I put my faith in this one project to work in order for my next project to be a success. I made a mini review site in a niche and wrote a ebook as a guide for myself. After reading the ebook I realize this can be sold and I can place my picture on the sales page for people to know who I am. In order for the ebook to sell I need the mini site to be very profitable. So I must believe that this method is going to work, and believe in myself that I will make this method work in order for my ebook to sell.
You see I put my faith in my projects, truly believe that they will work, and believe in myself to make them work. Look into your eyes in the mirror and say I believe in myself and I believe in my projects. I am successful, people haven’t notice it yet. I am rich but my money hasn’t catch up to me yet.
Tell me how you feel about saying that to yourself.

I like your way of thinking Deneil! I have been blogging only from april, and now I’m really working on my blog so as to make it attracting for people who visit it.
Hi Deneil,
What I learned from the most successful entrepreneurs in the world is the “art of no quitting”. Most people experienced this… they quit at the time success is about to emerge out from the hardship and desperation they are facing.
I agree that people start with high expectations. My blog is just for me and to share a few things I come across. If I make some money then cool, if not then it’s ok.
While I was going through a divorce, I was very down and withdrew myself from lots of activities. Then I use to say things to myself while looking into the mirror. ‘You are awesome’, ‘Love yourself’, ‘Be happy’, etc. It helped a lot and ups your attitude a bit.
If you want to succeed in life, you need to be positive and your attitude plays an important role in life and anything you do.
Regarding kushmoney, I think it doesn’t matter whether you build a brand around yourself or another name. I actually think kushmoney is very brandable. The problem (if you don’t mind me commenting) is that the branding is not consistent.
Your kushmoney avatar portrays a business-like money making blog, but when I arrived at your kushmoney blog, I saw poker, which is a huge disconnect, and I was kinda disappointed with what I saw. I don’t know about the other visitors, but I’m just giving you my honest feedback.
If you want to do poker, you need to quickly change to networking with other “poker” bloggers, not general “make money” bloggers like us. Hope this helps.
To believe in any project and to remain committed you have to really love what you have taken on. Take blogging for example, a lot of people start blogging in the belief there is money to be made and when it doesn’t come in as expected they give up. Those who learn to love blogging keep it up even if the money does not come in all at once. The money becomes secondary, but after awhile, if they blog proficiently, it starts to come in slowly and makes it all worthwhile.
Sorry to hear you got divorced. Talking to yourself in the mirror does help out a lot though. It helped me through some hard times. I believe that only positive people can be successful in this world. Positive people are the only ones willing to go that extra mile like yourself.
Yeah, that make total sense. Too many people start blogs thinking they going to make money like big name bloggers over night. Which just isn’t going to happen. I tell people that are thinking about making a blog to start a blog about something they love and know they can write about for the next 10 years. That really make people think about what they are passionate about.
I love blogging about how we can make profit from our blog, including design stuff etc. I don’t mind if I’m not making money in the first years. I blog because I enjoy it
That is good advice Deneil, I hope they pay attention to your wise words.
Thank you.
That’s good that you are working hard. Remember that a blog is a long term investment. Keep at it my friend.
Yeah, that is very important. If you quit, you can never win. I thought about quitting with kushmoney but let my entrepreneur mind take over and change the blog. Now that blog makes me a nice about of money and I started this blog which is a lot more fun.
I wasn’t happy with blogging at kushmoney anymore. I made the change to make more money from kushmoney. As I start this blog to allow myself to blog about personal life as well as my business life.
As far as networking. I network with every type of blogger from make money, food, poker, blogging, etc. I don’t limit myself to one niche when it comes to blogging. Being in the “make money” niche. You must network with every niche outside of the “make money” to become a big name blogger. Just look who’s commenting at JohnChow. It’s all types of bloggers who want to learn how to make money.
It’s good that you enjoy blogging. That is the most important thing. Blogging can get a bit crazy when you have nothing to write about.
I hope so too, some of them are really good writers.
