I know some of you thinking “You mean A-list blogger right?” I wish that was the question or a reality. This post is about the answers I got when I did a poll on kushmoney before making this wonderful blog. Normally I don’t care what people think about me but I just wanted to know where I stand as a blogger. I knew I was nowhere near being an A-list blogger. Boy was I wrong, I am closer than I thought.
The poll question was “What type of blogger am I?”
The answer options was the following;
A-list blogger
B-list blogger
C-list blogger
D-list blogger
F-list blogger YOU SUCK!!!
First off I could not believe somebody would be an ass and vote F-list blogger. It’s always somebody out there that hates you. I guess its a good sign though. I once read its better to be loved by 50% of the people and hated by 50% of the people than to be ok with 100% of the people.
Now to get down to the good news? Most of the voters had voted B-lister blogger. I could not believe that people really viewed me with such authority. I didn’t know I came so far in the blogging world. I seen the comments on my blog grow month after month and the power I had with social media marketing kind of went up a bit but still did not view myself any where near A or B list bloggers.
I always viewed myself as a C or D list bloggers and it would be months or years before I even break into the B-list blogger ring. I mean seriously, my subscriber count sure didn’t show that type of authority at the time. Now I am sure, I am somewhere between C or B-list blogger range. A simple promotion here or there and my subscriber count will jump over 1,000 subscribers but we will leave that for another post.
As a professional blogger, we all like to know these things. Ok, I am going to speak for myself when I say. I like to know these things. It shows me where I stand with people and where I stand in the blogging world.
So I am going to ask you all, What type of blogger am I?

You’re an F list blogger you suck!
Haha just kidding I would agree with you being in the C to B list blogger range
Hi Deneil, I would rate you as a B-lister. You’re consistent with your posts. I also enjoy the variety of posts (poems and good IM info) and your willingness to converse with commenters. It’s great watching your journey to the top and learning what has or hasn’t worked for you. IYou seem to have gotten a lot more popular the last couple of months! Keep up the good work
Hey Deneil!
I actually think that you’re a pretty good blogger, and I really would rank you as an A List Blogger.
Sincerely,
Klajdi Hena
I agree with Caden that you are a F list blogger – ha h ha
I will say that you are a C list blogger. Like you said you could increase your subscribers if you wanted too. If you did that then I would consider you a B or A list blogger.
You know what needs to be improved and where you are going and that it takes time, you take time to comment on other sites and interact with others.
I see you as a BIG A BLOGGER in the future.
What does a blogger have to do to become an A or a B list blogger? What makes one an A or a B list blogger?
I visit a few blogs every day and your blog stands out because of constant updates.
I think you’re a B blogger. I like your posts and think that with a little more marketing and promotion, you could be like some of those blog gurus, that have an audience of hundreds of thousands, maybe millions.
Yo B,
Nah, you are an “A” in my book. Nice article I like how you mix it up!
Deneil… quite the interesting post. The question is so subjective it is really hard to answer. You are definitely not an A-List Blogger yet, as you don’t have the subscribers as you mentioned yet. But looking at your Alexa stats, they were MUCH HIGHER than I expected. I was going to give you a B- but after reviewing your stats, I would give you a solid B.
lol, you always got jokes. Thank you, its good to hear it from others.
I would have to stay that you are a solid B list blogger. You write informative posts, are consistent, and are building a nice community around your blog. It’s only a matter of time until you rise to A status.
@caden i was already amazed with you reading the first line. I thought wow, this is an honest one! but anyway jokes still make me laugh.
lol, thanks for the laugh.
Well thank you for your answer. I think you may have that spot on right there. It does take time and I am in no rush at all.
What separates an A lister from a B lister? Traffic? Subscribers? Or is it really good content. I think A list blogs are ones with good content. Your site has good content, so I have to rank you as an A.

Hey Deneil! I got here from your guest post somewhere else.
I’m pretty sure you’re in the B range. You have good stuff going on here. Keep it up– I’ll see you around!
I couldn’t consider you already as a A-blogger, because to me A is the perfection, and nobody is perfect in this world. I would see you between B and C, to me your blog look very professional, and I’m talking to you as a friend, not someone who want to make you think something he doesn’t mean. I’m really looking forward to make some more business with you. If most of people RANKed you with a A, you would certainly not make as much effort as you are doing now, except maybe for keeping this RANK as long as possible. But I believe that it is better to challenge you rather than encourage you. Keep the great work man!
That is one serious and heard felt comment by my friend. I respect your thoughts. You right, it does challenge me to do better. Even though if I was an A-list blogger I would always work hard to make my blog better.
Thank you, I do my best to write informative posts, building a community is always been pretty easy for me since I like helping others the community kind of build itself, and you are right its only a matter a time until I start playing in the big boys field.
Hi Deneil,
It’s actually the first time that I come to your blog, but I’ll be back.
Unfortunately I haven’t read enough of you yet to be able to tell which class of blogger you are, but I’m sure you are a good one since you are smart enough to read mine!
Seriously, keep interacting with your readers, you are doing a good job!
Well to be one of the A-list bloggers. You must update your blog 1 to 3 times a day, have a really big subscribers count, and of course make a full time income from 2 hours of work.
So I know I am not an A-list blogger just yet.
Yeah, I do my best to reply to every comment. Some comments are replied to by other readers and I don’t want to get in the middle of their conversation. Unless I have something important to put in the middle.
Im not a big rating systems kinda guy, I think your one of the better bloggers Ive seen.
Thank you for taking notice of my blog though.
I always read your blog, I may not have much to say on the subject of SEO but I am always ready to learn more.
Really? Seriously many blogs get far more traffic than I do and have a bigger readership than I do. For example your blog.
Well its a personal blog, Can’t be business all the time you know?
Thank you, that means a lot coming from you.
lol, I like the way you put that and you did your homework first. That’s pretty cool of you Doug.
I try to visit all my readers blogs, but even with the best will I can’t keep up with everybody.
Anyway, keep doing what you are doing, you seems to have a nice community here!
Yeah, I know what you mean. I been falling behind in blog commenting myself. Working on this ebook. Trying to make sure there’s no fluff in it but still make it long enough so people don’t want a refund. I really should put this on clickbank and sell it for $27 but I want to help those with a low budget like myself and still make some money you know?
Thank you, I am doing my best to build the community even bigger and make sure each member gets something out of it.
I think I’m an A-lister blogger. not to boast but really that’s just my opinion and my opinion is relative to what i want to believe!
i agree. one honest blogger i have come across
Did you mean YOU or Deneil is a A-list blogger?
Deneil, I’m not getting into the thing about ranking a blogger either. I like your blog, and I like how you write, and that’s all that counts. You also visit many blogs, including mine, and always offer good points of view; that counts a lot with me also.
Oddly enough, I usually am a rankings kind of guy. I’ve signed up with a couple of things and track my ranks that way, but purely for fun. I know that I don’t have hundreds of thousands of visitors, and may never hit that mark. But I have some very consistent visitors, and I’ve always got someone new passing by, and I figure that counts for something.
So, keep on keeping on, and you’ll do just fine.
Another thing I did not mention is you actually respond to 99% of all of your comments, that are left on your blog. That is by far one of the top reasons I come back to your blog daily.
When i read your new post then i found you as a outspoken person and i like such people so i decided to read your older post because i could not stop myself. I will give the grade B and there is some reason for that. If i give you the grade A so its mean you are perfect but according to my thinking nobody is perfect in this world and we always learn something new from our life every moment.
Kristi, as I went through all the comments on this blog post to reply to them. I notice that everybody has their own view on what an A list blogger is. In your eye’s I am an A list blogger. Thank you, it feels good to be viewed as an A list blogger.
Good saying, I don’t think we learn something every moment of our lives but I try to learn something new everyday.
I don’t really know what type of Blogger I am. I need definitions of all those types of bloggers. Like, what are the symptoms to recognize an A, B, C, D, or F list blogger.
I have to say the more people you are influential over the higher you are on the list. Also, the better your content and marketing skills are the faster you’ll be an A-list blogger.
Thank you. I will try to post more poems. If I can find more or write some new ones. Yeah, I been working really hard. Too bad not all things work out for me. I think the popular comes from all the blog commenting I do.
Wow thanks Klajdi, wait are you saying that because were friends?
Thank you and you are completely right about the marketing. Being a guru sounds hard and fun.
Having an audience of millions sounds like I over did it but awesome. lol
Yeah, I did a guest post on CadenGrant.com
I am glad you like my blog, be sure to grab the free ebook while you are here.
NO, I sincerely am saying that because I really think that you are. I used to read Kushmoney all the time (’till you started talking about poker that is), and i think you really know what you’re talking about.
Thank you. With kushmoney I was just going with the flow. You know, learning as I go along. I think I made the perfect choose by making kushmoney all about poker and move all other topics here. It has been great so far, and things are looking better everyday.
yeah i really think ratings like these are just so relative and unreliable but if we’re after what our readers think of us, then I think it would be okay
Fair enough. What sites you signed up to just to check your ranks?
Technorati is probably the biggest name, though it only records how you’ve done in the most previous six months, which isn’t fair. There’s also Blogshares and my friend Sire’s Cool Blog Links. There was one other that I thought I had, but I don’t see it so maybe I removed it.
